Catalog for Tattersalls September Online Sale Now Available

The September Tattersalls Online Sale catalog has been released and can be viewed here. The sale, which takes place September 13-14, attracted 31 entries and features no less than 21 horses in training, as well as a selection of breeding rights, fillies and mares, shops and of yearlings.

The catalog is highlighted by the quadruple winner Wonder Elzaamwho placed fourth in the TRI Equestrian Gladness Stakes (G3) 2021 and the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Tetrarch Stakes 2020. Also set to feature the winner of the latest recent start Eloso, presented by Gay Kelleway. The 4 year old daughter of Bear Kodi won three times and placed eight times.

Another entry to spark interest is lightly run National fighter prospect Jipekaa Machin who has placed third in his only two starts for French trainer Hugo Merienne, including his last performance over hurdles in Dieppe.

Notable fillies in the sale include Rae Guest’s duo Jubilee Dancer, a 2-year-old filly never raced by decorated knight out of a full sister of the 2008 2-year-old champion and high-class stallion master craftsman and the winner of the 3-year-old filly Days Like This, a half-sister to the American Stakes winner natural color from the family of the winner of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (G1) 1998 Sagamix and champion of 3 years old and multiple winner of group 1 Japan .

Online sale attracted breeding rights to exciting young bulls Profitable , Territories , A claim and Ribchester . Profitable is already the father of the winner of the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) Quick Suzy and winner of the Prix du Calvados (G2) Marry . Coverage rights to Territories, a son of Invincible Spirit, will also be offered. He is the father of the winner of the Prix de l’Opéra Longines (G1) To blush as well as Cazoo Derby In Memory of Lester Piggott (G1) runner-up and Melbourne Cup hopeful (G1) Hoo Ya Mal . Aclaim is already the sire of winner QIPCO One Thousand Guineas (G1) Stamp as well as Listed winner and promising 3yo Royal claim . Ribchester also had an exciting start to his stud career, including placing in Group 1 Blazing Coast and winners listed Horse Factor , Ruthin and Snooze N You Lose .

Mares on offer include Lady Fatma, offered with blanket for Arizona son winner of the Coventry Stakes (G2) 2019 no no never and Miss Austen, a daughter of fame and glory full of Schiaparelli . Alison Hyde will offer a pair of unbroken fillies by Telescope and Dartmouth . The sale attracted applications from coaches Tom Clover, Ed Dunlop, Gordon Elliot, Jessica Harrington, Richard O’Brien and Sean Woods.

Recent graduate success from Tattersalls Online includes Rotten Row trained by Tony Mullins and Meaningful Star, who have won twice at Happy Valley for trainer Francis Lui since being purchased from the platform.

Generic entries will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, and details of all available lots, including photos, videos and veterinary information, can be found online.

Bidding on the sale begins from 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday and the sale closes from 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prospective buyers are encouraged to register to bid in anticipation of the sale, subject to approval by the Tattersalls accounts team.
