Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Catalog Now Live – Reuters

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 500 entries for the main catalog of its Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale, which will be held Monday and Tuesday, February 7 and 8, in Lexington, Ky. Sessions will begin each day at 10 a.m.

Registrations remain open for the complementary catalog of the sale, which will be available online and on the sales grounds. Fasig-Tipton will continue to accept additional registrations over the next two weeks.

Hips 1-300 will be offered in the Monday session. Hips 301 until the end of the supplementary catalog will be offered during the Tuesday session.

“Buyers looking to fill orders before the start of the breeding season will be impressed with the quality of this year’s catalog,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “We have a wide assortment of stake-accredited racing and broodmare prospects and proven producers, and the potency of stud sires and yearling sires represented is the strongest in recent memory.”

The front cover of this year’s catalog features Hot Rod Charlie, winner of the 2021 Grade 1 Pennsylvania Derby, sold as a yearling at the 2019 Kentucky Winter Mixed. The back cover features Army Wife, whose multiple wins in 2021 include the G2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes; and Naval Laughter, winner of the G3 Modesty Stakes last year. Both fillies were also sold as yearlings to the Kentucky Winter Mixed.

Kentucky Winter Mixed’s main catalog can now be viewed online. Printed catalogs will be available from January 19. The catalog will also be available through the Equine Sale Catalog app.
