Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 235 entries for the fall sale of Saratoga, the company’s New York breeding stock sale, to be held Monday, October 17 in Saratoga Springs, NY The sale will be held at the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion and will start at 10 am ET.
“This is a significant sale for those actively involved in the New York Breed Program,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “Saratoga Fall offers the highest concentration of New York-raised weaners of any mixed sale in North America each year. This year we have 175 cataloged weaners, all New York-raised.”
“There are also good opportunities in the broodmare part of the sale, with a number of mares in foal to promising young sires,” Browning added.
Since its inception in 2012, the Saratoga Fall Sale has been a premier destination for broodmares and weaners, especially those born in New York. Sale is the main source of breeding stock in the Empire State. Most of the mares offered are considered New York resident mares, bearing foals that can be registered as born in New York.
