How to unlock and all the rewards

One of Splatoon 3’s best editions is the Battle Pass-esque catalog system – here’s everything we know about it.

If you thought Nintendo wouldn’t attempt a Battle Pass in any of its mainstream games, you’d be wrong, because Splatoon 3 has one.

Like many aspects of Splatoon 3, it’s another way to incentivize and reward players for engaging with the game’s many incredibly fun online game modes.

Of course, if you want to unlock absolutely everything the game has to offer, you should try to unlock all badges in Splatoon 3.

What is the Catalog in Splatoon 3?

The Catalog is a progression system in Splatoon 3 where players level up in order to receive unique rewards. It works similar to how Battle Passes work in games like Fortnite.

However, unlike other Battle Passes, the Splatoon 3 catalog is completely free. You won’t have to pay any money for it and all the rewards earned will also be free.

The current catalog season is Drizzle Season 2022. It ends on November 30 and will be replaced by a brand new season and catalog rewards.

How to upgrade the catalog

To improve your catalog in Splatoon 3, you will need to earn catalog points by playing multiplayer matches. Each catalog level will cost you 9500 catalog points, and there are a total of 100 levels.

You can earn Catalog Points by doing the following:

  • Play multiplayer matches such as Turf War or Anarchy Battles
  • Full jobs in Salmon Run The Next Wave
  • For winning your first game of the day, you will receive 7500 catalog points

You will earn Catalog Points whether or not you win a match in Splatoon 3. However, you will receive significantly more for wins.
