Bobcat S86

The skid steer loader offers three hydraulic flow options in one machine, setting a new industry benchmark for performance and attachment versatility. The T86 and S86 are also distinguished by the West Fargo-based manufacturer’s exclusive Premium Power Performance System, a power management system that distributes power more efficiently on loaders equipped with high-flow, super-hydraulics. debit.

“Bobcat has redefined best-in-class performance with the toughness, productivity and capabilities of the new T86 and S86 loaders,” said Jorge De Hoyos, Bobcat senior loader product manager, in a statement. “We’re expanding our line of equipment to take on our customers’ toughest jobs. With these skid steer loaders delivering more usable engine and hydraulic power than ever before, we’re empowering customers to accomplish even more.” .

The T86 and S86 loaders offer greater attachment versatility and greater productivity. Bobcat engineered every component – including the engine, pumps and hydraulics – to deliver maximum hydraulic performance so operators can work faster, lift more and take productivity to new heights.

The three hydraulic flow options are:

  • Standard flow (23.0 gpm, 3,500 psi) (standard) – Select standard flow to run attachments that require less hydraulic power.
  • High Flow (36.6 gpm, 3,500 psi) (Optional) – This system provides additional hydraulic power to increase production of attachments such as the Bobcat brushcutter, trencher, planer and stump cutter.
  • Super Flow (42 gpm, 4061 psi) (Optional) – Meet the most demanding attachment applications, including milling pavement and clearing trees and thick brush, with attachments specifically designed for super-flow hydraulics.

Bobcat has designed its attachments to be fully integrated with the electronics, hydraulics and carrier geometry. Additionally, with these 80-platform loaders, operators benefit from greater attachment versatility. The T86 and S86 can power a wide variety of attachments, including those specifically designed for super-flow hydraulics, such as super-flow snowblowers, cold planers and forestry drum mulchers.

Multiple attachments require control of multiple functions, and Bobcat’s small seven-pin attachment harness puts power and control functions at your fingertips while eliminating the need for the mechanical relays used on other loaders. The T86 offers additional usable engine and hydraulic power with 105 hp and 3,800 lbs. nominal operating capacity.

The Bobcat T86

Equipped with the latest Bobcat technologies, the T86 and S86 loaders are among the most powerful, maneuverable and efficient loaders in the industry in their size class. Bobcat has increased the horsepower of the T86 and S86 while optimizing machine weight, which results in greater lift capacity, impressive breakout forces and advanced maneuverability for fast cycle times.

The R-Series cooling system on the T86 and S86 loaders has been completely redesigned for optimal operation and maximum uptime. Bobcat R-Series loaders feature a larger, higher-capacity radiator and a cooling fan that’s about twice the size of traditional fans. The fan achieves more cooling at a slower rotation and is more energy efficient. The larger fan also generates less noise around the motor for a quieter ride and operation.

Heavy-duty steel louvers also provide the airflow needed for optimal operation. The machine’s fan draws cool air through the tailgate to significantly reduce temperatures inside the engine compartment. Other features contributing to the improved cooling of these loaders include the reversible fan, larger radiator capacity and larger auxiliary hydraulic hoses and tube lines.

The T86 and S86 are equipped with Bobcat’s Tier 4 solution engine. Bobcat engines meet Tier 4 regulations without a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This reduces downtime that occurs with DPF regeneration and long-term DPF maintenance costs, so operators can focus on what they do best: getting to work.

The T86 and S86 R-Series deliver a well-designed operator experience for all-day productivity. The cab is designed as a quiet, low-vibration working environment. With its one-piece, sealed cab and quieter cooling system, Bobcat has reduced noise levels inside and around the machine.

The optional 5-link torsion suspension triple-flanged rear suspension undercarriage also reduces vibration, providing operators with a high level of comfort for long, intensive work days. Dedicated comfort features include a spacious cab, heated air suspension seat, automatic heating and air conditioning, ergonomic controls, innovative displays and options to provide greater comfort and easier control of the machine for a increased operator productivity.

Three workgroup response settings allow operators to adjust the joystick sensitivity of the lift and tilt functions to match operating preferences to job requirements. Users can adjust between slower, smoother movements for precision operations, as well as faster lift and tilt functions for applications that require more speed. This allows the loader’s drive response to be tailored to individual preferences for precise control and increased productivity. It is possible to tune the drive response for smooth motion and precise control or tune a faster responding drive for a skilled operator or when applications require faster cycle times.

The easy-to-read cab display, a standard feature on R-Series loaders, provides full machine interaction and monitoring from the cab. The rear view camera, which is standard equipment on the T86 and S86, provides a rear view from the operator’s seat, helping to identify obstacles on the jobsite.

Bobcat’s advanced technologies allow contractors to more effectively track, monitor and manage equipment, whether it’s a unit or an entire fleet. Snow professionals can stay connected to their Bobcat machines anytime and from virtually anywhere with Machine IQ. Bobcat machine owners can remotely access Machine IQ, a wireless information system, to monitor machine health and track information that improves maintenance, safety and performance.

With Bobcat MaxControl, operators can control their machine remotely or create geofences to avoid objects during semi-autonomous operations. Take the T86 and S86 loaders to the next level of operation, like operating the machine from outside the cab or setting up geofences around jobsite objects to avoid.
