The Roku Channel strikes deals for original/catalogue content featuring Martha Stewart and chef Emeril Lagasse – Media Play News

The Roku Channel announced on May 3 that it had signed co-production deals to develop seven new original series featuring lifestyle and cooking personalities Martha Stewart, chef Emeril Lagasse and home cooking expert Christopher Kimball.

In addition to the all-new original series, the deals will bring the complete past seasons of the Stewart, Lagasse and Kimball series to the ad-supported streaming platform. Streamers will have access to over 3,000 episodes of content from the library. The Roku Channel will further expand the ways users can watch content by creating linear channels featuring its Live TV Guide programming.

The deal ushers in new programming to bolster The Roku Channel’s original and licensed content offerings and further enhances the depth of food and lifestyle content available to streamers.
